Content creators, producers and distributors exploring the evolving world of media, entertainment and technology filled the 2017 NAB Show, the world’s largest annual convention encompassing the convergence of media, entertainment and technology.
Although the exact final number are still not available, the National Association of Broadcasters preliminary registered attendance of 103,443 for the 2017 NAB Show, places the event on top of the industry events. The exhibition featured 1,806 companies spanning 1,091,792 net square feet of exhibit space. Registered media attendees reached 1,518.

Effect, the convergence of media, entertainment and technology, this year’s edition received visitors from 161 countries, which explored the ultimate marketplace for solutions that transcend traditional broadcasting and embrace content delivery to new screens in new ways. The result of these once distinct fields of media, entertainment and technology are converging and becoming something far greater than the sum of their parts. That’s The M.E.T. Effect — and it’s redesigning the very nature of how we live, work and play.
From creation to consumption, across multiple platforms and countless nationalities, the NAB Show is where global visionaries convene to bring content to life in new and exciting ways. The 2018 edition is already being prepared.
