With Adobe and GoPro present on the next edition, the LAPPG’s monthly meetings are open to anyone with an interest in filmmaking, finishing and content creation.
It’s a double header at LAPPG’s November 9th meeting, as members get up to speed with two industry powerhouses. This event is a valuable opportunity for creative professionals to learn about the latest opportunities and offerings from these two companies.
GoPro will present their latest exciting programs including their new freelance editor community designed for those interested in editing a variety of GoPro content and who want to continue to improve their skill set. Attendees will also learn how they can get paid for their best GoPro content through programs: GoPro Awards and Content Licensing!
GoPro dynamic team members, Devon Vandervort, Sr. Program Manager for Content Acquisitions, Jon-Paul Harrison, Senior Manager of Content Licensing and Claire Podgorski, GoPro’s Creator Marketplace team, will be presenting and connecting with creative content makers.
Adobe’s Premiere Pro product manager, Al Mooney will be traveling back to the group to update us on the latest from Adobe Creative Cloud, which empowers creative professionals to create visually stunning videos faster with industry-leading video and audio apps, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition and Media Encoder. He will demonstrate how the latest innovations will continue to make Premiere Pro CC the market leading NLE.
The LAPPG’s monthly meetings are, let’s say it again, open to anyone with an interest in filmmaking, finishing and content creation and is a platform for professionals to stay up-to-date with technology, connect with one another through networking, and information regarding their meetings can be found on their website.
The Los Angeles Post Production Group (LAPPG) is a professional organization/user group for those with an interest or passion for digital filmmaking and the post-production finishing process. The group was founded in 2008 and hosts monthly meetings with the industry’s leading experts, professionals and companies.
