Adobe Video has some IBC 2026 announcements, features which you might have already heard about. Deepa Subramaniam outlined the features in Generate and create directly in your timeline with new AI-powered innovations in Premiere and After Effects.

The After Effects Al Assistant (beta) helps automate tedious tasks in After Effects; you can:

• Turn hours of manual indexing and technical problem solving into an automated process that takes minutes.
• Reorganize entire projects
• Repair broken expressions
• Create new expression rigs with natural language – no code writing required
• Work on your entire project, not just the active comp

We’ve seen several tutorials on this feature in the few weeks since its entry into beta, as mentioned along with other features in development in the recent roundup After Effects Portal August 2026. Premiere announcements include some exciting audio tools as well as deeper integration of AI and Color Mode:

• Generative Media Tool (Generate Video, Sound Effects, Soundscape, Music)
• Color Mode improvements (beta)
• Al Audio Innovations (beta)…can clean up noisy dialogue to break any audio clip into individual elements like speech, reverb, music, and sound effects. Another feature, Separate Crosstalk, automatically separates two overlapping speakers into independent tracks.
